This piece is named after Margaretha Geertruida MacLeod, better known by the stage name Mata Hari. A Dutch exotic dancer and accused spy during World War I, she remains an enigmatic figure in history. Known for her beauty and intrigue, she allegedly worked as a double agent, leading to her execution in 1917. Mata Hari's story captivates with its blend of espionage, seduction, and controversy, making her a symbol of femme fatales and espionage lore. Made by hand by our team of skilled artisans, using ancient vanishing techniques in our atelier in New Dehli.
